CUST @ Gatorade Freeflow

CUST Media Director, Lani Finer, and I have started a webisode for the season.

For Episode 4 of Fresh Baked Shred, Lani and I headed to Vail with team member Austin Blodgett for Gatorade Freeflow. It is one of the biggest competitions available to all amateurs. The winners of the competition receive a reserved spot for the Dew Tour the following year.

Practice Starts! and Wax Clinic #2

Wow I can't believe it has been a whole month! The new snowboard season has started and I have already logged 11 days. I hope you all have been making your first tracks.

Practice starts next week!
Last Wednesday, Keystone opened up Area 51 with 30 rails and 7 jumps!
If you have free time during the week, hop in the team van with Pat A and go shred the new snow and jibs.
No more trampoline or skate practice but I would definitely still be down to go to Jumpstreet on a slow night if I get bored. Let me know!

Wax Night Dec 1 @ Satellite Boardshop
After the last successful wax night, Satellite and CUST are hosting another wax night on Wednesday, Dec 1 at 7:00pm. Come mingle and check out the shops deals. Pat and Raul will be teaching us how to use P-Tex to fix any cuts your board may have from pre or post-season shreds. I don't know if any of you have seen my board.... but it needs all the tune-up it can get.
Check out the facebook event
There will be Redbull and Neuro.

Zeal Optics & Satellite Boardshop Wax Clinic

This pre-season has been so much fun! Skate practices, trampoline practices, and workouts are in full swing. Take advantage of pre-season coaching, it will benefit you when it comes time to hit the big park later in December.

Along with more practices, we also have a lot of amazing sponsors like Zeal!

Zeal Optics
Zeal Optics is a new sponsor of CUST this year. We are stoked and hope to build a long-lasting relationship with them. We cannot thank them enough!
Check out their website

Zeal Optics is a local Boulder, CO company. They make eyewear and goggles, with premium lenses. Support local buy local.
They were generous enough to donate two Eclipse Goggles and three Dominator Goggles.

They have a new goggle just released this month called the Transcend GPS Goggle. It has GPS capabilities and many other features we never thought were possible! Super cool, check it out!

Wax Clinic at Satellite on WEDNESDAY!

Instead of going to our usual meeting...
Be at Satellite Wednesday at 7pm, just to hang out for a little, have a few refreshments, meet some cool people in the industry, get your name out there. Boulder Snowboard Group will be there, they are an awesome group to meet, so that when you graduate they are the next step in your snowboarding career. Great group of people, always partying hard and snowboarding hard.
You can pay dues at this meeting.

Satellite have the SICKEST Satellite/CUST shirts for us, first come first serve come to check it out this is a meeting you do not want to miss.
They will also be educating the team how to wax and tune your board properly. Anyone can slap some wax on a board, but you're going to want the best tune up for this epic season!

Also, Nov 10 Wahoo's Fish Taco is hooking the team up! Plan to be there Wednesday, November 10th and tell all your friends.
More information to be posted this week!

Keep shredding, see you guys on the slopes and at practice.
Keystone opens Nov 5, and Breck Nov 12

Happy Shredseason :)

SFC Early Bird Rail Jam - Joey Dryer took 1st place!

SFC Early Bird Rail Jam

Ok, so for those of you who did not know anything about it, this weekend the Colorado Christian University hosted the SFC rail jam. They had a sick down rail and a flat down rail set up and it felt SO GOOD to be back 0n the snow.
Team rider, Joey Dryer, took first place and we couldn't be more excited for him. He took home a whole new outerwear set up, some hats, and gift cards.
